We're extremely lucky here in Cardigan to be surrounded by some of the finest food producers in Wales. From cheese to meat, fish to vegetables, the suppliers we work with are dedicated to giving us the best produce they can - as well as giving the animals and soil they work with the utmost care and respect. Cwm-Cou Organics

Penralltwen is seventeen acres of south-facing pasture and woodland. We have organic status, certified by the Soil Association. We are establishing a small farm that  produces good food for our customers. The growing system is based on the promotion of biodiversity and the return to stability and natural balance. Trees have been planted and polytunnels have gone up. We are sensitively managing the woodland and encouraging wildlife. We are are firmly rooted in the organic principles! 

The HedgeRose

At The HedgeRose we make everything ourselves by hand. We do our all of own butchery in our very own, 5 star Hygiene rated approved meat processing facility, so we know exactly what goes into our products. It also means that we are able to make any special requests to order whatever it may be.

We are pleased to now be able to offer our customers a full range of Pork, Lamb and Beef from our farm. 

All of our sausages, burgers and faggots are handmade, using only the highest quality ingredients and to our own recipes, which are all Gluten free, preservative free and additive free.

Shipton Mill

Set in a beautiful Cotswold valley near Tetbury, the mill in Shipton Moyne Wood has been producing flour since the time of the Domesday Book. Today it produces a wide variety of speciality flours, using both traditional grain and traditional methods.

We mill a range of organic flour of exceptional quality, without haste and with scrupulous care, using only the best ingredients.

Felin Ganol Watermill

A complete working watermill on the River Wyre in Llanrhystud, Ceredigion, producing organic stoneground flour. 

Emma Powell Flowers

Emma's exquisite range of flowers, grown on her smallholding at Fachongle, grace our tables in the cafe, and are also available to buy from St Dog's Local Producers Market on a Tuesday, 9am - 1am. 

Mantle Brewery

Bragdy Mantle / Mantle Brewery Ltd is a family-run micro brewery proudly producing quality Welsh Real Ales. Our distinctive ales are crafted on the border of Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire in the picturesque market town of Cardigan. Our craft brewery is a modern facility, and by utilising traditional techniques and natural ingredients we brew a range of quality ales that remind you what beer should taste like.

Bristol Twenty Coffee

A fantastic roastery and coffee supplier from Bristol. We use their 442 blend - a triple-certified, dark organic roast. 

Caws Cenarth Cheese

Caws Cenarth is the oldest established producer of Welsh Farmhouse Caerffili. As well as the plain Caerffili, Caws Cenarth also produces other varieties, Garlic and Herb Caerffili and Smoked Caerffili. More recently, Carwyn has developed new cheeses, including the Brie-like Perl Wen, a creamy blue, Perl Las, and Golden Cenarth, a washed-rind cheese with a powerful flower – and winner of the Supreme Champion accolade at the British Cheese Awards 2010. 

Cardigan Bay Fish

Len and Mandy Walters have been processing fish and shellfish caught by their own vessels for the last 14 years. Len has been fishing for 30 years out of Cardigan.

All of the products offered by Cardigan Bay Fish are sourced directly from their vessels or fishermen based in Cardigan. We pride ourselves on being able to offer fresh product, processed as soon as it’s landed to maintain flavour and quality.

You can find Mandy on her stall at St Dogmaels local produce market located next to the Coach House next to St. Dogmaels Abbey from 9am til 1pm, and Cardiff Riverside Market on a Sunday morning. Follow us on Twitter to see where we are!

Glebelands Market Garden

Glebelands concentrates on leafy and salad crops where freshness is most marked. Typical crops include Kale, Broad Beans, Courgettes, Cucumbers, Squashes, Basil, Parsley, Chard and Spinach, as well as leaf salad. We are based on a six acre site between St. Dogmaels, North Pembrokeshire, and Cardigan town where we have a shop open to the public as follows:
